School on Wheels reopened and welcomed back students both in person and online for afterschool mentoring and tutoring after a prolonged closure due to Covid. School on Wheels is located at 7th and San Pedro, and has been assisting youngsters from kindergarten through 12th grade for 30 years. Many of their students reside at the Union Rescue Mission, or at nearby hotels and motels, and are homeless. The school is a non-profit and is seeking volunteers.
